I’m very excited about my new novel, IN YOUR DREAMS and am currently querying literary agents to pursue a traditional publishing deal.
I’ve enjoyed the last few years, writing as a hobby and self-publishing novels for family and friends to enjoy. However, it’s always been a dream of mine to walk into a bookstore and see one of my novels displayed. It’s a daunting task to put yourself out there and face rejection. I see it every day in the music business. But being in the music industry and having worked nearly twenty #1 hits, I know it’s possible with the three P’s; Perseverance, Professionalism and Patience. And quite honestly, timing and some good old-fashioned luck!
Along with working full-time as a record promoter, I have taken my writing to the next level on a few different fronts. I’ve attended workshops and seminars such as the Nora Roberts Writing Institute. I’ve participated in on-line tutorials and I’ve hired professional writing coaches to aid me in scene development as well as how to query agents. It’s been an amazing learning process that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
To my family and friends who keep inquiring as to when I will make my next novel available, please join me in patience. I will not be self-publishing In Your Dreams as I search for an agent who believes in my writing, my theme and my characters as much as I do.
And thank you for your continued support!
Every author in some way portrays himself in his works, even if it be against his will.
I try to leave out the parts that people skip.
If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.
